Suffering from writer’s block? Scared that you won’t be able to complete your work on time? Do you wanna make these stupid boys kiss but just can’t find the words to do so? You’re not alone! We’ve been talking amongst the admins and some other members of the fandom and a few of us have been struggling with writing – so we figured, why not have a word war?
What is a word war?
A word war is an event where several members of a fandom get together to compete to get as many words written as possible. There are no prizes, of course, but you will get motivation and encouragement from your fellow Olivarry shippers!
Where is this taking place?
We have set up a Discord server. You can download the app here – it’s pretty lightweight and won’t be too demanding on your computer, we promise! To get into the server, please message @thescarletspeedstress, @brooklyn1949 or @halzbarry with your request to join and your age so that we can get you set up!
What time?
The event will take place at 4pm eastern/3pm central on Sunday 11th June, however, the Discord server is already open for those who want to join us before then for inspiration/ideas/ship discussion. For those outside of the US, a quick time conversion can be done via Google, or on this website.
We will also create a general chat in the server for after the word war. This will allow everyone to share their woes with fellow Olivarry shippers (or just discuss the ship in general, because what’s better than enthusing about your OTP together?
