Olivarry Week 2018 begins in just over a week! We’re so excited to see what everyone comes up with this year! 

To ramp up for the event, we’re running a Sprint Day in the Olivarry Discord server all day tomorrow (Sunday, July 8th).  This is an open invitation for members and non-members alike to come and join us! 

What is a sprint day? 

Because our fandom is filled with so many talented writers, we have resources in our server to help and motivate us all to get some work done. We run mini sprints in the server most days, but tomorrow we’ve decided to make it an event, and to invite everyone to challenge themselves and join us. 

What do I need to do? 

If you’re not a member already, you need to join our server to join the sprints! The invite post to the server can be found here: https://discord.gg/XgzgbMu.

Once you join, a mod or admin will greet you and help you get set up! 

What do sprints consist of? 

A sprint is a timed challenge that we run in the #sprints channel on our server. We set an amount of time for everyone to start writing, record our word counts, and our bot tracks our progress and keeps score. It’s a really fun way for productivity!

Is there anything else I should know? 

Unlike the more casual sprints in our server, this event is specifically for Olivarry Week fics. We all have other fandoms/ships etc to work on, but those can be done outside of the Sprint Day!
