Okay but Black Siren has always insulted Laurel Lance, and seen her as less than in comparison to herself. But when Sara showed up and asked if she’s in any way like Laurel, she said “hardly at all” in such a way that showed that shift in perception. It was no longer about feeling superior to Laurel and wanting to make that distinction. Instead, it was almost as if she was disappointed that she wasn’t more like Laurel. And that whole exchange was just so crucial and understated. I really appreciated it – whether it was written in that way, or whether Katie chose to play it in that way.
