What strikes me so much, to this day, is how much trust these two have in each other. Earlier in the crossover, Leo concedes to Ray about loosening up on the planning. And here, Ray isn’t questioning or clinging or doubtful. He’s trusting Leo’s decision to spend a little time on Earth-1.

Even when they argue, it’s done in a respectful manner; they listen to each other.
