Tumblr is apparently doing some crazy nonsense again, so it seems like a good time to remind everyone that Pillowfort.io is a new social media platform that aims to give users control of their content and how it’s seen and shared, as well as provide better communication tools to promote conversation and creativity. If this sounds good to you, you can donate $5 to our PayPal and you will receive a registration link the Friday after your donation. And if you decide the site isn’t for you, you can request a refund for up to three weeks after you sign up. (All money we receive through this process is going towards paying our hosting expenses and compensating our programmers.)

To anyone interested in the site but can’t afford to donate, there are a few users in the replies who are offering to give away extra registration keys that they’ve purchased! And if you are someone who has extra links you aren’t using, you might want to reply to this post so others who are looking for links can find you. 🙂

United Writers Meetup is a place for writers of all walks to come together and talk about their passion, writing. Founded on the ProfoundBond Discord server, it’s been really fun and rewarding to connect with so many writers, and we’re looking forward to meeting new people!

Fic writers, original story writers, and writers of all fandoms are welcome to join. Participants must be 18 years or older due to the inevitable raunchy nature of the conversations.

Meetings are held via chat on Discord. The running schedule will be the first Friday of every month unless otherwise announced. You are not required to speak during the chats (there will be a text channel for everyone to chat in), but you do need to be able to hear the host speaking, so headphones are strongly recommended. A Discord account is not necessary to join. Just click the link and a browser will pop up.

The poll to vote for the themes for Olivarry Week 2017 is now open!

We had a lot of prompts this year, and we had to shave the list down from over 70 prompts to under 35, so a lot of themes had to be merged. We tried to make sure that most of them were actually included (for example,specific requests like “GoT AU” etc were merged into a more nonspecific category) and some that we felt didn’t fit or were too specific had to be discarded. Keep in mind, though, that if the theme that you were hoping for didn’t make it, we still have Free Day.

With that out the way – you guys can vote for up to 6 themes! Choose wisely. The poll will be open until Saturday, May 27th.
